Dear Alumni brothers,
Thanks to the generous support through the Zeta Mu Alumni Association, brothers David Kelly, Zach Crowder and myself, attended the May 17-22 session of LeaderShape Institute in Gallant, Alabama. This was the first time any delegates from the Zeta Mu Chapter had attended a LeaderShape conference since re-chartering in 2003.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Cuz
Dorothy Chandler (Mrs. Guy E. Chandler), mother of Brother James "Cuz" Chandler, passed away peacefully at home at The Grace Place on Sunday, June 20, 2010. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26 at Grace United Methodist Church in Hearne at 2pm.

Fellowship, Fraternity and Football!
Since June 21st marks the beginning of Summer, it is time for us all to look forward to Fall 2010. I ask that you mark your calendar for several upcoming dates:

Death of Brother Allan Van Slyke
On 15 June 2010, the Zeta Mu's lost another brother. Allan Van Slyke died; his funeral is scheduled for Friday, 18 June 2010, at St John's United Methodist Church in Richmond, Tx. (across the street from the Ft Bend County court house). Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. till the service starts at 3 p.m. This is short notice, but I hope to see a lot of Tau's in attendance.

Jim Danklefs back at Home!
I got out of the hospital and was home by noon! Went straight to bed to start catching up on sleep I did not get in that hospital! Still not caught up, but working on that! The diagnosis is blood clots in some veins in stomach! I am giving myself 2 shots a day and taking pills to thin my blood and some really good pain pills, yeah!

ATO Little Sister from the late 60s, Kaye Williams
Does anyone have details on the recent passing of our Little Sister and ZETA, Kaye Williams Richardson?. She lived in the Houston area and was married to the SAM football player, David Richardson. I need some closure on this if anyone can help…thanks, Jim
