ATO Scholarship Fund supports Five Undergraduates
Generous donations by Alumni Brothers, often as Memorials in lieu of flowers for Brothers that have passed on to the Chapter Eternal have funded Five One Thousand Dollar Scholarhips for James Gutowsky (3.07 cumulative GPA); Drew Milburn (3.6); Zac Crowder (3.34); Shane Rankin (3.12) and Sean Kelly (3.26). They were recognized with a steak luncheon yesterday at the Face to Face Scholarship Luncheon. These undergraduate Brothers continue the tradition of nothing less than a 3.0 GPA that we all carried when we were undergraduates. Thank you for your support!

Passing of Brother Bill Philleaux
Fellow ATOs…
Well… The news finally arrived. We all knew this email would be coming someday, but always wanted it to arrive much later than sooner. We have lost our Brother Bill Philleaux, the first president of our beloved Dons Social Club, and one of the primary factors in getting the club established at Sam Houston. His wife, Ann, has described the last few hours in her email below. Having learned of what Bill was going through, and the pain that he was enduring, as crude as it may sound, he is probably better off and will no longer have to deal with all those pains, for he is in the hands of the good Lord.
Obviously plans for his services have not been announced, but as soon as I learn of them I will pass them along.
Love & respect to one and all,
A W

Mac Woodward files for Mayor of Huntsville
Brother Mac Woodward has filed to run for the Mayor’s Office in the upcoming City election after incumbent Turner has decided not to seek another term. It would take an idiot to run against such a distinguished gentleman as Mac and local slum lord / Village Nut, George Russell, has filed to be an also ran. Let us know what we can do to help Brother Mac.

Mike Davis Thank You
Brothers,
As many of you know, Brother Mike Davis’ father, Norman Davis, passed away recently. Brother Joe Smith conducted the service and I am assured he did a wonderful job, as always. Alpha Tau Omega sent flowers to the service in support of Mike, Cynthia and their family. Following is the text of a thank you note from Mike:
Roy,

Brother Bo Robert's Health
I thought that everyone would want to see what Susie has written as it explains, in detail a lot of things that are happening with my physical life. I have been frustrated and am regularly using a cane when out of the house as I never know when I will have an episode which makes it difficult to walk.
The good news is that it appears that there is a less likely chance I have MSA. Bo
Greetings Everyone:

Passing of Brother Pat Hodges
A.W Randle posts the following: Fellow Dons & ATOs….. A bit of sad news to report this evening. Charlie Hodges’ brother, Pat Hodges (who was an ATO), passed away about 7:47 PM on Saturday, January 29. Pat and Charlie lived next door to each other down in Sandia, Texas (which is close to Corpus). Charlie had told me earlier that Pat would be buried there in the Sandia area.

Support Lyndsey Hagan at Walk for Breast Cancer
When I heard about the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer I knew that this was something that I had to participate in. I am walking in honor of my aunt, Linda DeLange Bennett, who lost her battle with breast cancer on November 3, 2010. On April 16-17, I’ll spend the weekend walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. The walk is 39.3 miles long and I will spend the next few months training, fundraising, and preparing for this event. I’m very excited about doing it.
