Founders day / New member initiation
Hey everyone just wanted to give you the info on this years founders day. It will be on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00 a.m. The schedule is still being developed for the entire events activities. However, I can tell you that this event will also be the day when our new members will be getting initiated. We thought that the alumni of the ZM chapter would want the opportunity to be able see the chapters initiation once again and encourage all alumni to come and take part in this great tradition. I will be posting more blogs and information on the webstite as the day approaches. If you have any questions feel free to email or call me at anytime
See y’all founders day!

Vote for your Bro!
I have as of today I have become a Deputy Voter Registrar for Walker County. I have already gotten over 50 students to register to vote for the November elections here in Huntsville. I have taken the task upon myself to ensure that brother Woodward has the most support possible from the student body here at SHSU. I am also in the process of getting a booth set up on campus Monday morning-afternoon to persuade the student body to become registered voters. I am setting a personal goal of getting 200 able body voters registered by this Tuesday Oct. 11.
Vote for Brother Woodward!
Love and respect,
Shane Rankin

Passing of Brother Bill Philleaux
Fellow ATOs…
Well… The news finally arrived. We all knew this email would be coming someday, but always wanted it to arrive much later than sooner. We have lost our Brother Bill Philleaux, the first president of our beloved Dons Social Club, and one of the primary factors in getting the club established at Sam Houston. His wife, Ann, has described the last few hours in her email below. Having learned of what Bill was going through, and the pain that he was enduring, as crude as it may sound, he is probably better off and will no longer have to deal with all those pains, for he is in the hands of the good Lord.
Obviously plans for his services have not been announced, but as soon as I learn of them I will pass them along.
Love & respect to one and all,
A W

Passing of Brother Pat Hodges
A.W Randle posts the following: Fellow Dons & ATOs….. A bit of sad news to report this evening. Charlie Hodges’ brother, Pat Hodges (who was an ATO), passed away about 7:47 PM on Saturday, January 29. Pat and Charlie lived next door to each other down in Sandia, Texas (which is close to Corpus). Charlie had told me earlier that Pat would be buried there in the Sandia area.

Some of you may have received the following note from brother Joe Smith in the past few days. If you did, my apologies for repeating it. However, some folks may not have received it so that’s why I’m posting it here.
