Last nights strong winds toppled a pine tree into the parking lot of the ATO lodge in Huntsville. That was the only tree that fell in the area. Luckily the tree missed brother Juan Luis Macias’ truck which was parked in the next parking spot. No damage was done to the lodge!

My name is Adam Howell and I have been recently elected as the replacement liaison between the active Zeta Mu chapter and it’s alumni. I am a Junior as of this past summer and am looking forward to another year in Huntsville.
As of now, Career Day has been scheduled at noon on Saturday, October 13th at the Zeta Mu lodge in Huntsville.
On April 19th, 2012 the Zeta Mu chapter of Alpha Tau Omega gathered at the Oakwood cemetery in Huntsville, Texas for the signature event of the semester. The chapter holds a ceremony every year to honor General Sam Houston and replace the tattered flags flying over his grave with new ones. This year our key note speaker was Mayor of Huntsville Mac Woodward. The event was a huge success with various members of the community attending.
The ‘swearing-in’ ceremony for Brother Mac Woodward as the new mayor of Huntsville, Texas will be held Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Huntsville City Hall, 1212 Avenue M. Huntsville, Texas.
There will also be a Reception at 5:00 p.m., prior to the ceremony. Brothers are encouraged to attend.
There is an active wildfire burning near Midway (Walker County)… about 14 miles northwest of the ATO lodge in Huntsville. Sixteen ATO ZM Alumni and friends donated a total of $8,350 to MedMission. ATO Brother Bruce Evans delivered the contributions to MedMission, a 501 (C) (3) non profit organization which will use the donations to help victims of the Alabama tornadoes. Thanks again to all donors.

I got an email from Bruce Evans wanting to make sure everyone underdstood he was not affected by the storm and the community he lives in had very little damage. At the same time Brother Evans indicated there was a lot of need for assistance in Alabama. Brother Evans is involved in relief efforts and the MedMission suggestion is a good way to help. If interested please follow the instructions below.
R. Steve Robinson lost his battle with cancer this afternoon in Huntsville. His family was at his side. I will miss him dearly.
