Is anyone from the Zeta Mu Chapter Going? Did anyone get the email. I would like to see more of our chapter attend this happy hour?
ATO Happy Hour: January 24th
Last nights strong winds toppled a pine tree into the parking lot of the ATO lodge in Huntsville. That was the only tree that fell in the area. Luckily the tree missed brother Juan Luis Macias’ truck which was parked in the next parking spot. No damage was done to the lodge!
Alright we have finalized the schedule for this years founders day. The schedule of events are as follows.
11:00am-11:45 meet and greet
11:45am-12:45 new member initiation
1:00pm-1:30 awards presentation/officer reports
1:30pm go out to eat at Zachs bar and grill
All of the events (other than Zachs will be at the ATO lodge located on 1411 Nottingham road)
If you have any questions about the schedule or the event please feel free to email or call me.
The chapter will also be selling shirts at the lodge during the day. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing one.
For those brothers not on Facebook, this is Orin’s last Facebook post (October 29, 2010). I think it speaks for itself:
Spent the day with my sister (Lynn) (who grew up here but has lived in Colorado since 1965) We traveled “old roads” reflecting on “growing up” here and Richmond Fort Bend County 50 plus years ago. We walked the river bank, picked cotton, pulled rice, counted deer and drove the old streets of “Humble Camp” at Thompsons…..much has changed, much is still the same, it is still Home
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not one bit simpler.
This Sunday, August 29th at 7:45 P.M., we will be having an initiation ceremony at the lodge for Sean Kelley, Mark Manino, Mike Rithchie, Sam Lockett, and Jonathan Lee. As you all know the initiation ceremony is a very important and meaningful ceremony for these guys to be welcomed into our house of friendship. So I would like to encourage as many alumni as possible to come out and experience this wonderful occasion with our new initiates.
Brother Geno Chauvin gave us the Heads-Up about brother Steve Kuchta being featured in a Houston TV News story:
GALVESTON, Tx - Hurricane Alex is far away enough to spare Galveston the destruction, but close enough to kick up the swells. For surfers, it’s a perfect storm.
