Zeta Mu Chapter
I have finally graduated and am now looking for full time employment. I have been working at the gun store up in Huntsville for the past couple of months but am looking to move on to greener pastures. If anyone knows of any positions that may be available or know anyone who is looking to hire a recent college graduate I would very much appreciate the help of my brothers and my fellow alumni to help me find a steady job where I can get some entry level experience.
At tonight’s Sam Houston State Univerity Sammy Awards, the Best Social Fraternity Award was won by the Zeta Mu chapter of Alpha Tau Omega! Well done brothers! Ru Rah Rega!

ATO Happy Hour: January 24th
Before Thanksgiving break began, several brothers of the Zeta Mu chapter gathered together to participate in a brotherhood ping pong tournament. The event took place in the garage of a house that a few members live in off campus. Twelve brothers participated in the tournament that lasted about two and a half hours. Each match was played the best out of three games and each game was played to twenty one points.
As I sit in my apartment packing up the last of my stuff, getting ready for the last few days before I ship out to boot camp. I realize how real these past four years with my brothers have been. As though it was only yesterday that I received my bid and did my first Ruh Rah Rega in the Pit all the while wondering was this the right choice for me. I realized a few weeks later that not only was ATO the right place, but that I gained a family. Brothers that in my time of need, have come to help me no matter how far or whatever the case may be.
The men of the Zeta Mu Chapter at Sam Houston State University recently welcomed Senior Leadership Consultant Matt Stark to Huntsville, Texas for his bi-annual visit. Matt presented information on the chapter’s progress in the eyes of National HQ, met with chapter officers, spoke with the school’s Greek Life officials, and gave specialized information on how to amp-up Zeta Mu’s Signature Event.
My name is Adam Howell and I have been recently elected as the replacement liaison between the active Zeta Mu chapter and it’s alumni. I am a Junior as of this past summer and am looking forward to another year in Huntsville.
As of now, Career Day has been scheduled at noon on Saturday, October 13th at the Zeta Mu lodge in Huntsville.
On April 19th, 2012 the Zeta Mu chapter of Alpha Tau Omega gathered at the Oakwood cemetery in Huntsville, Texas for the signature event of the semester. The chapter holds a ceremony every year to honor General Sam Houston and replace the tattered flags flying over his grave with new ones. This year our key note speaker was Mayor of Huntsville Mac Woodward. The event was a huge success with various members of the community attending.
My dearest Brothers:
First, I want to thank everyone who was in attendance at the 2012 ATO Zeta Mu Reunion & Hog Hunt at the Trails End Ranch in Medina last weekend. I have received word through several Brothers that the business meeting was temporarily ‘suspended’ for a prayer for me and the current health issues that I am facing. I can’t thank you enough for that and how much it has meant to my family and me over the past few days. Many tears of gratitude have been shed by my family and me. God bless all of you.
Second, I also understand that an auction was held on Saturday night during which a bag of what was reportedly my ‘short hairs’ that have fallen out during my chemo treatments sold for $175.00 and is now in the Zeta Mu chapter’s bank account. Let’s just say that I’m glad I could be of help to the chapter despite my absence at the reunion!
