Scott Murphy and Team reviewing a map in Iraq 2005

I have not run into any Taus within the Marine Corps yet. I have only met one other guy from Sam Houston State and we have been friends ever since. As a matter of fact, we ended up in the war together.

Scott Murphy and Commandant of Marine Corps 2005

I was with Marine Forces Central Command during the invasion and ended up in Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq for a total of 7 months. I returned home to Hawaii June ‘03. I currently have orders to Joint Task Force - Full Accounting and should report there in August. While there I will be a team leader for personnel recovery missions to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, North Korea and a few other places to look for MIAs at old crash sites and battlefields. In short, just digging for old bones.

Attached are pictures of my team and I planning communication intercept sites on our "hummer" before the war and one of us shaking hands with the Commandant of the Marine Corps after the war.

L&R,
Scott "Murph" Murphy

“We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob. Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me—and I welcome their hatred.”
