Since June 21^st marks the beginning of Summer, it is time for us all to look forward to Fall 2010. I ask that you mark your calendar for several upcoming dates:

Saturday, October 16^th is HOMECOMING at Sam Houston State. Charlie Adams has reserved a block of rooms for the 15^th and 16^th at the Comfort Suites on I-45. They are reserved under the name Zeta Mu ATO price is $74.99 plus tax (includes Breakfast Buffet). Call the hotel direct at 936-436-9600 to reserve your room (limited availability, First Come First Served)

Comfort Suites is also providing a meeting/party space for the evening 6:30 till 11:30. The Zeta Mu Alumni Board will meet at the Lodge at 10 A M on October 16^th.

Saturday, October 23^rd: SHSU Bearkats vs the SFA Lumberjacks at Reliant Stadium

Rick Hanna has arranged through the University for a block of tickets: We have two blocks of seats, one on the 50 yard line (Premium $35) and one adjoining them on the 30-40 yard line (Midfield $20). You can order online by following these directions (PDF) or give Jason at the SHSU ticket office a call at (936) 294-1729. Plans are also being made for a pre game Tailgate Party featuring the culinary stylings of Brother Bird!

And while your pen is out to mark your Calendar, write a check to Your Z M Alumni Association. Less than 70 of our over 650 ZM Initiates have paid their dues this year. The more of us that help to carry the load, the easier the load is for all of us.

Join your Z M Alumni Association and pay your dues. If anyone would like to make a separate donation you may specify which fund you would like to contribute to: Besides the Alumni Association fund we have an Active Chapter Fund, a Lodge Fund, and a Scholarship Fund. It is your choice.
